The Texel House of Antiquities is a small museum in the center of Den Burg. If you’re on Texel, you must certainly visit this endearing museum. The beautiful house, dating back to 1599, is one of the oldest houses on Texel. It is completely furnished with furniture and utensils from the days of grandma’s grandmother. You experience how one lived on Texel. The collection is very exceptional. There is also a small herbal garden with medicinal herbs. Open from April till November.
