The forehouse
A beautiful cabinet, made around the year 1750. Filled with linen and personal objects in the drawers.
The painting of the Texel bride has been made by Andries Warmoes in 1757. It’s an accurate display of the clothes in those days.
In this room, you’re welcomed by one of our volunteers. They sell the entrance tickets and show you around the museum.
